Rezo-Lid

Linezolid is an oxazolidinone-class antibiotic effective against Gram-positive bacteria, including MRSA and VRE. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 23S rRNA of the 50S ribosomal subunit, preventing formation of the functional 70S initiation complex. It is used for pneumonia, skin infections, and resistant bacterial infections.
