Levetiracetam is an anticonvulsant used as monotherapy or adjunct therapy for the treatment of partial-onset, myoclonic, and generalized tonic-clonic seizures. It binds to the synaptic vesicle protein SV2A, modulating neurotransmitter release and reducing neuronal hyperexcitability.
