Roxadustat is an oral hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase (HIF-PH) inhibitor used for the treatment of anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD). It stimulates endogenous erythropoietin production, enhances iron absorption, and improves hemoglobin synthesis.
