Edoxaban is a direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) that selectively inhibits Factor Xa. It is indicated for the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation, and for the treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
