Pregabalin is an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain agent used for the treatment of neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and as adjunct therapy for partial seizures. It binds to the α₂δ subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the CNS, reducing neurotransmitter release and decreasing neuronal excitability.
